MEDOC-ETL Training Programme 2024-25

Developing technical skills to build research-ready OMOP instances

This programme aims to equip European IT and data professionals with the skills to build an OMOP configured instance of cancer data at their own organisation, with a particular focus on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process for the “Minimum Essential Description of Cancer” (MEDOC) standard developed by the DigiONE I3 project. It combines virtual seminars, face-to-face learning and offline support for data scientists, informaticians and anyone else interested in the technical aspects of building an OMOP instance. It is led and supported by experts from IQVIA’s global OMOP team.
